Vila Isabel Charitable Society is looking for fundraising campaign managers to help us coordinate our initiatives this year. We are looking for passionate people to work with us starting April/2013 through Jan 2014. These are exceptional opportunities for students, business-minded individuals, mothers with kids in school, and/or anyone else with a heart for the cause.

Deliverables / Duties

To be defined per campaign:

The campaign manager is responsible for the success outcome of the campaign beginning to end.

Campaign Statement of work creation (doc) – scope/resources/milestone/targets

Campaign Status report (doc) – monthly report to the board

Coordination of the volunteers involved (if applicable).

Approximate Position Start Date: April/13

Approximate Position End Date: Jan/14

Time commitment: 6-8 hours per month (flexible)

Students or experts are welcome!

Qualifications

Proven experience with Adobe Photoshop

Creative and sensitive

Strong teamwork skills

Experience working with remote teams

Excellent written and oral communication skills

·      Design specific creative campaigns flyers

·      Maintain our website graphics up to date (homepage banners, info-graphics around the site, etc).

·      Design up to 1 report graphic per month to be attached to our newsletter

Vila Isabel has the potential to impact a greater number of lives and contribute with other organizations that share the same cause.

We are looking for a Marketing and Social Media Manager to be responsible for bringing traffic to our site, connect with existing donors, new donors, as well as building Vila Isabel Charitable Society brand through delivery of great content!

The position reports to our Board of Directors.

This role is responsible for research, strategy, planning, development, execution, management and analysis of all Vila Isabel Social Platforms – Facebook, Twitter, Mailchimp (newsletter tool) and website.

Deliverables / Duties

Develop the strategy and plan for all of Vila Isabel social media real estate

Responsible for consistent growth of our online presence: identifying and developing new social initiatives as well as nurturing existing channels and their followers

Establish unique social content programs to compliment vila-isabel.org.

Partner with our graphic designers, campaign managers and event coordinators to keep our content up to date.

Management of the social media content calendar, ensuring execution against plan by the Social Media team (Monthly Newsletter, weekly Facebook, twitter updates and website content update are required)

Extract data from social media platforms and Google for key performance indicators every other month and present it to the board.

Born and raised in Brazil, Karen Costa has Villa Isabel as her charity of heart. Despite her busy Real Estate career, Karen always finds time to help & volunteer for us and has been part of our team for the past 2 years.

Izabel was part of the Vila Isabel's board of directors from 2005-2011. She is one of the founders of our Charitable Society, and has been a key volunteer, extraordinarily organizing Vila Isabel's events, specially our annual Garage Sale.

Izabel is mother of three teen agers and besides working full time she is always involved in good volunteer cause. Our Charitable Society is very proud to have Isabel in our team!

Web Developer Volunteer

Glauco joined VICS in 2007. First as a volunteer in the fund raising events, then as a board member and now is our volunteer.

"It's a great pleasure to be involved in the VICS projects because it is a connection to our home helping those kids. Even being miles away from home, it is very important for me to work in all the fund raising events that help those families in Betim-MG. We know that we can do more, and we will work hard for that."

Glauco lives in Port Moody-BC, and works as an IT Consultant in the finance area.

Stella is the English name of our dear talented designer Kyuhee Park. Born and raised in Korea, she has a major in graphic design and has been helping Vila Isabel while studying english in Vancouver.
