We are very happy to share some of the achievements from the first 3 months of the year!

We initiated the year with a great reinforcement of efforts when one of our directors represented us on the launch of our ‘Music Under The Tree’ Program with our community in Citrolandia. The kids were amazed and engaged with the initiative that promises great impact!

Hearing the testimonials directly from the people that our campaigns benefited was simply joyful!

Another fantastic initiative came from a wonderful family, the Loughrey’s. Instead of gifts for their one year old Lucas they asked their extended family and friends for donations to Vila Isabel. The program was called ‘Lucas Donation Fund” and served as a great pilot that we plan to extend to other families! Contact us if you would like to learn more.

As we grow, a need for organization and structure has emerged, however as everything else with our organization, resources always come in at the right time. Angelica Loughrey, has offered to guide us through a series of strategic planning exercises that began Saturday, March 9th. Expect productive changes soon!

It would be a long newsletter if we were to report all that is going on, so we just want to close this with a big thank you to all of you that share the same cause, and lets move forward to the next step.
